Replay experiments started from recorded moments in Ara-3 history. Cit+ appeared from some backgrounds under bounded protocols, showing that prior history changed observed accessibility without making any single future inevitable.

Under these experiments, later Ara-3 samples were more likely to yield Cit+ than the null model expected.
History does not force the outcome
Many replays from later samples still produced no Cit+ observation. Potentiation changes propensity, not destiny.
The protocol is part of the question
Reachability here means “observed from this background under this exact replay,” not accessibility in every environment.
Generation is not the mechanism
The selected tables do not identify a unique potentiating mutation, genotype, or clone-level causal chain.
