08 / Reconstructed + recorded history
A stellar trace is evidence.
An origin is an interpretation.
Sixty-four Gaia DR3 sources make the full epistemic chain inspectable. Measurements, Gaia estimates, published orbit calculations, Onto2D rule profiles, and historical context remain five different things.
01 / Exact bounded result
What the frozen cohort contains
Every number comes from the verified artifact. The live Gaia archive is needed only to deliberately rebuild the pinned source projection.
02 / Epistemic chain
Five layers; no silent promotion
The authority changes at every step. Following the arrows means adding a model or interpretation, not revealing progressively more direct facts.
03 / Chemo-kinematic cohort
Present-day orbit space
Each point is one stellar source. Position uses a published orbital estimate; colour is an Onto2D rule profile. Choose a quality regime to see what survives Appendix B filtering.
04 / Quality ablation
Half the cohort leaves; all four patterns remain
Medium is the 64-source baseline. High keeps 32. Persistence means only that each declared rule profile still has members; the medians move and no origin claim is strengthened automatically.
05 / Evidence ablation
Where the historical reading becomes permissible
Advance one evidence layer at a time. Classification is withheld until chemistry and orbit estimates coexist; historical compatibility is withheld until publication context is present.
06 / Candidate interpretations
Compatibility is the result - not recovered origin
These statements are deliberately asymmetrical: they summarize how the bounded present-day pattern can be read, while preserving alternative formation channels.
07 / Historical Load
Not evaluated is the result
null, not zero08 / Reading discipline
What this release refuses to infer
Catalogue values
Reported measurements keep their uncertainties. They do not absorb downstream orbit or population meaning.
Parameters and orbits
Gaia Apsis and the paper companion table remain separately attributed derived layers.
Rule profiles
The four cohort names are Onto2D selection rules, not native Gaia population labels.
Historical context
Radial or counter-rotating patterns can fit several histories; they do not prove accretion.
Birth and ancestry
No birth site, common ancestry, or unique formation route is produced for any source.
